This versatile kit is ideal for transitioning clients with motor-planning deficits from oral-motor exercises to speech production. The three sets of tools - Bilabial Shapes, Tactile Tubes, and Speech Blocks - provide tactile cueing so clients can feel where the articulators should be during speech production. Some clients may prefer biting into a softer surface as they work their way through the Bite Block hierarchy. These new, softer Bite Blocks are the appropriate choice for them. The Sensory-Friendly Bite Blocks work in exactly the same manner as the original version, but are constructed of a softer, more pliable material.
